The Campsite ‘Des Acacias’ is located near the l’Ardeche River. To go for a swim you can
take the path by the campsite forest for 5/10 minutes and you are there. (the beach is on
the river banks, with a cosy snack bar and a canoe station)
Tourism and leisure
Situated on the border of the Languedoc and Provence Regions, a point of departure for
numerous tourist getaways or sport activities. To discover and visit l’Ardeche during your
stay, we have many leaflets with nearby tourist attractions at our reception. Do not hesitate
to come and ask for advice. We know our region best!

Sites of interests and monuments of Saint Paulet de Caisson :

The Castle : Ancient place of residency of the Comte the Gabriac, the castle was distroyed during the French revolution. Few traces (mainly the watchtower) and some houses near the church still remind us as of its existance.
The Church : Built at the end of the XIX century on the site of the previous church (that had became too small) houses the remains of the Saint Placidie. One of the two buildings bells were melted down in 1579.
La Chapelle Sainte-Agnès : Situated to the North of the village, built in the Provencal Romanesque style. Classified as a historical building since 1974, it serves as an exibition centre.
La Chartreuse de Valbonne the Valley and its Monastery
La fontaine Saint-Paul : Topped by the St Paul’s statue, the fountain distributes water from the Champ-Cauffé spring.
L’oratoire Saint-Joseph : Gothique Style, the Oratory is also part of the Monastery (Chartreuse de Valbone). Built in XIX century..

Le Château de Balazut : Built in XIX century.
The Long distance foot path 4 (GR 4) starts in Royan (Departament of Charente Maritime) and finishes in Grasse (Department of Alpes-Maritimes) connecting the Atlantic to Provence.
